For banks to offer their customers “EPC Rounding”, they will need to instruct their processor to make the following software updates:

A routine that will allow a customer (via online, telephone, or with a platform associate) to:

·       Enter their debit and/or credit card account number.

·       Enter the amount of rounding for their debit account and/or for their credit card account, i.e. $1, $2, $3, $5, or more. (If your bank chooses, the customer can enter the dollar amount, i.e. $1, $2, $3, $5, or more to add to their check/debit or credit card entries.)  

 

·      If more than one account will be offered, enter the apportioning percentage to the savings and/or investing accounts.
