For banks to offer their customers “EPC Rounding”, they will need to instruct their processor to make the following software updates:

A routine that will allow a customer (via online, telephone, or with a platform associate) to:

 

·       Enter their debit account number.

·      Round each of their debit transactions to the next dollar.

 

·      Transfer the rounding amounts to their savings account.
