EPC has invented and U.S. patented a service that will allow both existing and new coupon users to share the “FREE” money, contributed by merchants and manufacturers, with their favorite nonprofits.
This U.S. patented service -- invented, developed, and tested by EPC -- will allow any shopper to spontaneously instruct their supermarket cashier to have any part of the cash value, which they receive from coupon/rebate redemption, sent to their selected charity.
Use a Loyalty Card, Debit Card, Credit Card, etc. as a marker
In order for a customer to use the program, all they need to do is have their card scanned (as usual) at the point of sale (POS terminal) and tell the cashier the amount they want to send to charity: “All”, “Coins Only”, or a “Specified An Amount”. Any funds remaining will then be deducted from the transaction as usual.
Receipts & Reports - At the end of the transaction, the store receipt will show the amount they are donating to their charity. In addition, the supporter can receive online yearly tax qualifying report.
