Introduction

Every Penny Counts® (EPC) is a “business services” company that creates, markets, operates and patents software products that are hassle free as they “extend, expand, and /or truncate” payment transactions.

Once a product is invented or re-invented by EPC, it becomes passionately alive and able to provide customers with new convenience and expanded opportunity.

Business - EPC licenses and operates its portfolio of patented products to card associations, banks, merchants, and nonprofits. Our licensees in turn provide consumers with innovative tools to fulfill their life style dreams.

Diversified Team - The professional team that founded and operates EPC is composed of both left and right brain thinkers. Our analytic/creative team members have backgrounds as retail bankers, accountants, programmers, hardware engineers, mathematicians, investment bankers, nonprofit fundraisers, psychologists, psychoanalysts, teachers, merchandisers, telephony experts, patent attorneys, and insurance executives.

What We Discovered - At EPC, we discovered that traditional financial transactions have inherent limitations because once they are over -- they’re over. The beat stops and the players (consumers, nonprofits, banks, and merchants) go on to the next plain vanilla transaction. After we analyzed the “state of the art”, we created new products and improved existing core products so that they will forever change how financial institutions, consumers, merchants, and nonprofits conduct their everyday commerce. Not only did we create the products, we also patented them.

EPC Milestones - Starting in 1993, EPC created and patented the first:

• Checking account that automatically saves, invests and/or donates.
   
• Credit card that automatically saves, invests and/or donates.
   
• Consumer card that can save and/or donate POS rebates or coupons.
   
• Consumer card that can save and/or donate store change (coins or bills).
   
• Gift card that provides merchants with a 100% sale.
   
• Gift card that provides merchants with an immediate and reportable sale.
   
• Gift card that gives consumers immediate ownership in merchandise.
   
• Gift card that provides local, state, and federal tax authorities with all due revenue.
   
• Depositing to checking or savings accounts at the POS.
   
• Pending - The Independent Rounder gives customers a way to independently save, invest, and/or give, using their credit cards and/or checking accounts.
   
• Pending - Solution that destroys paper checks after they are digitized at a POS, ATM or teller station.
