AutoGive Frequently Asked Questions (1) Our organization already purchases gift cards from the store and we make 5% on the sales of these cards. Can they be used with AutoGive? If paying for your purchases with a gift card, there will be NO AutoGive rebate as the store has already donated 5% for the purchase. However, any additional purchases, will earn the AutoGive rebate. For example, if your supporter wishes to spend $120 and has a $100 gift card, they should stop the checkout process at $100 and have the cashier start a new receipt after scanning your loyalty card again. The $20 would then generate the 1% donation for the NPO. Most organizations have only a few buyers of the gift cards. AutoGive lets all other supporters generate a donation simply by shopping and scanning their loyalty card. (2) AutoGive is easier than pre-purchasing gift cards because:
(3) Will EPC sell data from the members of our NPO? “NO”, EPC will not sell or otherwise distribute names and addresses of NPO supporters. (4) Do I need to tell the cashier that I am an AutoGiver? “No”, there is no need to inform the cashier. EPC’s priority software keeps track of all your shopping. (5) How often will we receive our donations? EPC will pay the nonprofit AutoGive donations monthly or quarterly (per merchant chain), within 7 working days of receipt from the merchant corporation. (6) How can we be sure that we are getting the right amount of donations each month? AutoGive is unique in that we provide auditing reports for the NPO online at this site (password protected).In any given month, you will know how many visits and how much was spent by each individual supporter. We encourage you to review these reports each month and verify the results by spot-checking with specific members. (7) When will I be able to audit/view my supporters’ monthly shopping? Approximately four to six weeks after the end of each Shopping Cycle, your organization’s Activity and Inactivity Reports for that cycle will be posted on your NPO Hub Page. Your organization will be emailed the day that they are posted (8) Will AutoGive affect our supporters’ clipless and printed coupons? “No”, they will still receive all their discounts, as usual. (9) Do I need to notify my bank about the direct deposit of our rebate checks? Will my organization be charged a bank fee for direct deposit? The answer is “NO” to both. (10) Will our organization be notified when our rebate is being deposited? “YES”, an email will be sent to you the day the rebate is being deposited. |
